Of all the professions I've tossed at the wall, designing games was the only thing that stuck and wouldn't let go. I have the usual corny spiel of having played games my entire life, and nothing else makes me happier than to craft the very experiences that shaped my childhood and distracted me from my homework. They are the beautiful culmination of any and all types of knowledge distilled into a work of interactive art.
That interactive nature of games makes for an unparalleled potential to send people on an experience that other media can only dream of resembling. As a budding designer and programmer with a rather diverse set of experiences and an overactive imagination, I hope to craft such journeys for all who decide to press play. Currently I'm a student at Digipen Institute of Technology as a part of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Game Design program to form a mastery in both programming on the engine level and the gameplay level, as well as a mastery in game design. |
